Don't create a new team if yours is already in the list. Claim it instead, so there's only ever one of each.
Every team in the scene is in this list, however long ago it last played. If your team genuinely isn't here, it may be brand new. Switch to "Create a new team".
Only a team's captain, coach, or owner should claim it, so a team is never grabbed out from under the people who run it.
Check the claim list first. Only create a team if yours genuinely isn't there yet, so we don't end up with duplicates next to the curated teams.
