About Genesis

Genesis is the reference library for the Australia and New Zealand paintball tournament scene.

The idea behind it is simple. Bring the community together, and bring everything it has built into one place. Paintball across Australia and New Zealand has a rich history, and most of it has lived in scattered Facebook posts, group chats, and old draw sheets where it slowly gets lost. Genesis gathers the teams, the players, the seasons, the results, the rules, and the venues so the whole scene can be found, followed, and remembered in one home.

It is also a place to celebrate what the sport has achieved. The APIA campaigned for the change to the laws around paintball markers that finally gave the sport a proper legal footing, and a win like that deserves to be remembered. The PSFA is working to stand up as a national sporting federation, and we are right behind them getting there. These are the milestones that push a sport forward, and Genesis is where their stories get told.

As more officiating bodies form, more clubs open their doors, and more new players pick up a marker for the first time, the scene only gets stronger. Genesis exists to back that growth, and to give everyone, from a first-timer to a seasoned captain, a clear picture of where the sport has been and where it is going. The goal, in the end, is to help paintball grow into the sport we all know it can be.

Genesis is built and maintained by Original Sin Paintball. If something is missing or wrong, the contact page is the way to let us know.
